From the designer: "This Sampler was first published as a SAL a few years ago, but since we got so many requests for it, we decided to publish the chart again. The original sampler is owned by Annelies van den Bergh and is stitched with wool. The Sampler is most likely from Belgium, and was made during the First World War or as a remembrance of the war (1914-1917)."
