OH HAPPY DAY! Over Christmas I received a big box of DOVO scissors. These have not been available for a few years, as the company was sold and reorganized. They decided last year to bring back some embroidery scissors, and this is the first style to come back to consumers. These are top-quality, sharp, precise, absolutely lovely scissors. So glad they're back!

The Nashville needlework market is just two months away, and I'm already busy printing and packing charts for the show. The show is a wholesale show and not open to the public. I'll be in room 521 (same as last year.) I'm not doing sneak peeks at this time, but will send a newsletter and post products much, much closer to the show.
My New Year's resolution this year is to stitch every day, and although I missed one little day, I am now in the groove and spending some time in my craft room every day stitching just for fun. I hope you, too, are making time to stitch, craft, read, take a walk, pet your cat or dog, or whatever it is you enjoy doing. Life is short -- take care of you!
Eleanor's original sampler is not in great shape, and the colors are ... not my favorite (purples, magenta, weird greens.) But I loved that pagoda! And the baskets! And the birds! I dont often do it, but this time, I changed the colors of the sampler completely! I used Sampler Threads and Weeks Dye Works, but you could use DMC floss (a conversion is provided.)
Fabric is 32 count Natural Belfast. Stitch count is 145 by 203.
