Girlhood Embroidery 2-Volume Set by Betty Ring
I have one set in currently. The set of books comes in the original box that has some slight shelf wear. The books inside are in absolutely pristine condition (they don't appear as if they have ever been opened.)
This is it -- the creme de la creme of sampler history books. Betty Ring was one of America's pre-eminent sampler scholars, and this 2-book set is over 500 pages chock full of sampler goodness. LOTS of pictures with an accessible writing style. Perfect if you love history, samplers, Americana, folk art, or all of that.
This 2-volume set is out of print -- it originally was published in 1993. I remember picking it up at the bookstore -- oh, so excited. You are getting, of course, a pre-used copy, but you are getting both books. It is well worth the investment for any serious sampler lover.
