Thursday, August 14:

Well, hey, where the heck did summer go? It always feels like once it's the Fourth of July, summer is over in like two weeks. We have had a hot and humid summer. Every day I walk my dehumidifier water out to water my new hydrangeas. Yesterday we finally got a "soaker" of a rainstorm, so maybe I won't have to do that today.

I've been busy the last few weeks with orders and with getting ready for my fall retreats. My first one is in Kansas City at Quilter's Station, and I am excited to get to spend time with Rita (the owner of the shop), Teresa Kogut, Beth Twist, and Stacy Nash...oh, and of course the stitchers!

In October, I'll be headed to the Silver Needle in Tulsa for a double-header in the "she shed." Then in later October, I'll be at my local shop, Stitches Unlimited. November, I'll be going to The Attic in Mesa, Arizona. Time spent with stitching friends is always so much fun. Who else can we talk to about our hobby and habits but other stitchers? Retreat talk is always happy talk.

Tomorrow we'll be releasing our next "Fabric of the Month." July's fabric, Goat's Cheese, was so popular, we had to do another run. I am thinking this fabric may be one we keep around, because so many have said it's such a practical fabric for projects. Can't wait you to see tomorrow's "juicy" color. Every month, our theme is "Farmer's Market," so fabric colors are inspired by what you'd see on sale at a farm stand.

I hope you are getting some time to stitch. I am, and it's always such a sweet part of my day. - Love, Theresa

I don't carry anything I don't like -- truly! There are so many great designs, old and new, so many samplers to stitch, so many fabrics to fondle, and lots of great fibers, books, tools, trims, and more.... watch for more expansion of products  -- to not only include what's good in needlework, but what's good in .... well, being good!

You're going to love my flat shipping fees -- $5 in the U.S. Really! The more you buy, the better that deal gets, so get a clickin'.

Orders are always filled in the order they are received -- shipping waits can vary from one to seven days, depending on order volume. If you can add it to your cart and pay for it, that means that item is in stock and ready to ship to you (unless it's marked as a "preorder.") If you place an order and then see that an item is marked "out of stock," you probably purchased the last one. Items are subtracted from my inventory one-by-one as orders are placed.

I appreciate your business, support, friendship, and well-wishes. They keep me going day-after-day. Cheers! - Theresa
