Saturday, April 27th:

We're enjoying a beautiful, green and breezy spring down here in Mississippi. Although the azaleas have bloomed and waned, every day brings new color in Hattiesburg.

Just today I received a new Blackbird Designs book (see above.) Alma says she made some changes to an original antique sampler in her collection to honor her fourth great-grandmother! Occasionally, someone will e-mail and ask if it's okay to add their own (or another person's) name to a sampler, and YES! Of course it's okay! Your sampler should be your own, and it is no dishonor to call attention to people in your world.

The announcement was made this week that I'll be teaching at the September Quilter's Station retreat in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I am lucky to go, not only to join Stacy Nash, Vicki Jennett, and Lois Mouriski, but ALSO to get to spend a little time with my son, Graham, who lives only 45 minutes from there! You can sign up by calling Quilter's Station at (816) 525-8955. The total cost for the retreat fee is $550, which includes all four kits/classes, over two days. There are 80 stitchers in each of two blocks, and I've heard it's a lovely time!

I hope you are getting some stitches in this month. April is a beautiful time to sit by a window or sit outside and stitch and think. It's good for us to take time to rest and create!

Love - Theresa

I don't carry anything I don't like -- truly! There are so many great designs, old and new, so many samplers to stitch, so many fabrics to fondle, and lots of great fibers, books, tools, trims, and more.... watch for more expansion of products  -- to not only include what's good in needlework, but what's good in .... well, being good!

You're going to love my flat shipping fees -- $5 in the U.S. Really! The more you buy, the better that deal gets, so get a clickin'.

Orders are always filled in the order they are received -- shipping waits can vary from one to seven days, depending on order volume. If you can add it to your cart and pay for it, that means that item is in stock and ready to ship to you (unless it's marked as a "preorder.") If you place an order and then see that an item is marked "out of stock," you probably purchased the last one. Items are subtracted from my inventory one-by-one as orders are placed.

I appreciate your business, support, friendship, and well-wishes. They keep me going day-after-day. Cheers! - Theresa
