Friday, January 23:

I spent a few days in bed (sick) this week. I kept up with my e-mail, but haven't packed orders for two days. Thanks for your patience!

This weekend we are expecting a big snowstorm. Steve and I are going to run out today to get some storm snacks. My dad always used to run to Hornbacher's ahead of a storm to get a few brown paper bags full of soda, chips, Oreos, licorice, and other treats. Growing up, sometimes a big snowstorm meant we would have a day or two off of school, which always felt amazing! I can still feel in the pit of my stomach the sensation of listening to the radio station and waiting, hoping, praying that school was cancelled!

Market preparations are going great! I've packed over 1,000 charts so far, but have thousands more to go. The covers and charts look really great, in my opinion. Still a few models to go, but that's all under control.

Not much else new here -- oh, except the Pop-Up Event I'm hosting with five new friends from the area. There is so much creativity here in Pennsylvania (and New Jersey, and Delaware, etc.) I've invited these friends to host a pop-up shop event with me NEXT Saturday, January 31st, from 10-3 here in Macungie (we are "connected" to Allentown.) It's going to be such a great mix of fabric, charts, threads, doo-dad's, pin sets, project bags, and what-nots. I get the bug now and then to open a shop, which really isn't feasible for a one-man show like mine. This will satisfy that itch, and let local stitchers have a fun shopping experience close to home!

I don't carry anything I don't like -- truly! There are so many great designs, old and new, so many samplers to stitch, so many fabrics to fondle, and lots of great fibers, books, tools, trims, and more.... watch for more expansion of products  -- to not only include what's good in needlework, but what's good in .... well, being good!

You're going to love my flat shipping fees -- $5 in the U.S. Really! The more you buy, the better that deal gets, so get a clickin'.

Orders are always filled in the order they are received -- shipping waits can vary from one to seven days, depending on order volume. If you can add it to your cart and pay for it, that means that item is in stock and ready to ship to you (unless it's marked as a "preorder.") If you place an order and then see that an item is marked "out of stock," you probably purchased the last one. Items are subtracted from my inventory one-by-one as orders are placed.

I appreciate your business, support, friendship, and well-wishes. They keep me going day-after-day. Cheers! - Theresa
