FABRIC OF THE MONTH - BUTTON MUSHROOM A Wabi-Sabi Fabric
The Aida, for this color, ended up slightly lighter than the linen did -- see the second picture for the Aida fabric.
For a few years now, I've wanted to do a Fabric of the Month, but I wanted to do it in such a way that didn't involve a membership of some sort. I also didn't want people to be roped into getting it every single month. And, I wanted them to be able to buy more, if they wanted more. My website allows me to do subscriptions, but I hated to send the fabric alone, if a customer also wanted a few other things.
This is how my "club" is different:
It's not a "club." Buy the ones you want, get as much as you want, add other items to your order. Skip a month, if you like.
These fabric colors are going to be one-month runs, though. The first few months, we are starting with a set amount to find the yardage we'll need each month. So, this month (until August 15th), if we run out of a count, we'll dye more. If we still have fabric left at the end of the month, it will continue to stay up for sale, until it is gone.
As usual, if you purchase two, you'll get a fat half. Buy four to get a whole yard. This is all Zweigart-based fabric (look for that famous orange stripe on the edge.)
Our theme is "Farmer's Market" this year! We regularly go to ours, and there is always so much color. For future colors, stay tuned to the website, or sign up to receive my newsletter (go to my home page -- you'll find the sign-up in the bottom right corner.)
