JESSIE FORBES 1898 by Heartstring Samplery

This delightful antique Scottish sampler reproduction features a poem by Robert Burns that may be written in old language, but nevertheless contains a message relevant today : be kind to your fellow human beings.

The sampler is a large 235 x 376, but included inside the cover is a QR code that will take the stitcher to a revised smaller size as well as a bonus "modern English" translation of the quote (translation by me) and also a companion pin cushion pattern.

Included in the pattern booklet are charts for the full sized antique reproduction, a sewing roll inspired by the sampler, and a cute little "humbug" pin cushion.
