The sampler measures 238 stitches wide by 336 stitches high.


The sampler contains several speciality stitches, such as quarter stitchers (one over one), eyelets, freehand embroidery and buttonhole eyelets and is not suitable for aida. The sampler is charted using DMC, as there is little variegation in colour on the back. Due to the amount of fade and age-related dirt on the front I have tried to choose the best overall match in DMC for the faded palette.
