This absolutely beautiful sampler is this year's Queen of the May -- Mary dallied until June, because quarantine in England meant the framer was closed. Just think -- this sampler is over 300 years old! I was able to see this model in person at this year's Nashville Needlework Market, and it SINGS! The sampler uses padded satin stitch in some areas, which I SO BADLY want to try!!!! The colors are royal, and bright, and youthful, and happy. It's just what we need.
