Secret Garden was inspired by nature, the magic of gardening season and watercolor paintings I've been drawn too recently. Not only was this pattern a joy to design, but even more fun to stitch! For a little extra sparkle, I worked the star shapes stitched throughout the pattern in gold metallic petite treasure braid thread!
Stitched with DMC thread on 36 count “linen” colored linen from Weeks Dye Works.
DMC threads: 224, 225, 520, 522, 524, 676, 729, 782, 931, 932, 3041, 3042, 3371, 3721, 3740, 3743, 3750, 3859. (optionally, gold metallic thread)
An additional thread list for a more muted palette is also included in the pattern.
