Thursday, July 3rd:

The Fourth of July, historically, felt like the beginning of the end of summer to me. We'd often spend the day at someone's lake place, eating popsicles, riding in the boat, shooting off bottle rockets, and getting bit by mosquitos. I'm pretty sure I'd spend the day in my swimsuit, and I remember going to bed smelling like sunshine, my face and shoulders rosy from a day out in the sunshine.

Shortly thereafter, the school supplies lists would show up in the mail. We'd go shopping for school clothes and sneakers, get our Crayola markers and crayons, sign up for extra-curriculars and the bus. I went to a school where there were two classrooms per grade, around 50 kids total, and it was always exciting to find out which friends of mine would be in my classroom all year. My husband and I actually grew up in the same school, and only one time out of eight years of grade school did we end up in the same classroom. That year, in the yearbook, there we are, sitting side-by-side in the back row in fourth grade, never imagining we'd be sitting side-by-side for the rest of our lives.

This weekend, my dear friend Sue (my Raise the Roof Designs partner) is going to be here. We're planning on spending one day putting together quilted bags, and I'll take her out for ice cream at Premise Maid. We've had a rainy, warm summer, so the entire Lehigh Valley is green and lush. Harrison planted some hydrangeas for me in the back and in the front.

Life feels pretty lucky sometimes, and I do not take my many blessings for granted. Those blessings include my career, my customers, and my friends in the industry. Much Love - T

I don't carry anything I don't like -- truly! There are so many great designs, old and new, so many samplers to stitch, so many fabrics to fondle, and lots of great fibers, books, tools, trims, and more.... watch for more expansion of products -- to not only include what's good in needlework, but what's good in .... well, being good!

You're going to love my flat shipping fees -- $5 in the U.S. Really! The more you buy, the better that deal gets, so get a clickin'.
Orders are always filled in the order they are received -- shipping waits can vary from one to seven days, depending on order volume. If you can add it to your cart and pay for it, that means that item is in stock and ready to ship to you (unless it's marked as a "preorder.") If you place an order and then see that an item is marked "out of stock," you probably purchased the last one. Items are subtracted from my inventory one-by-one as orders are placed.

I appreciate your business, support, friendship, and well-wishes. They keep me going day-after-day. Cheers! - Theresa
