This is an evenweave fabric -- the threads are more evenly spun, and so it's perfect if you like working on Jobelans or Luganas. Hand-dyed in Hungary, they are perfect for samplers and prim stitching. These are only available as fat quarters right now (19 by 27 inches, approximately.) There are subtle variations in color that make it look...well, old-ish. The edges are even serged. Please know: if you purchase TWO of this item, you are going to get two fat quarters, not a half yard. Most of my fabrics, you can get as halves and/or whole yards, but not this one. But that's okay, because it's awesome!
