This sampler is not dated, but it is probably from the 1820's-1840's. The original was stitched in wools. My model is stitched in silks: Silk N Colours, Belle Soie, Au Ver a Soie and Needlepoint Silk, BUT, there is a conversion to DMC and Sampler Threads. My model is stitched on 36 count Vintage Pear linen by Lakeside Linens.
