This piece honors the late Queen Victoria, who was a grand old gal. The motifs on the sampler are items that were buried with her -- they say her coffin was filled up to the brim with mementos and knick-knacks. Photographs, books, flowers, a plaster cast of Albert's hand, and she was buried in her original wedding veil. I stitched my model on 40 count Bramble by Picture This Plus in Weeks Dye Works.
