I purchased this sampler a few years ago, but my sampler cup runneth over, so I'm parting ways with a few to make room around here. OLD sampler -- and in very good shape, considering its age. Colors are still vibrant, and although there are some holes (see esp. the center of the sampler), it's in great shape and VERY finely worked. Sampler measures 11 1/2" by 12". Picture shows back of frame with verses written out.
 
I have not reproduced this sampler -- the linen is very fine, and there is considerable over-one stitches. It appears that the sampler is still tacked down to the original wooden (interior) frame. The outer frame has some damage, and I cannot tell you if it's original or not. This is in the same condition in which I received it, and although it could use a spit shine (please do not use actual spit), it's a real charmer with "The Lord's Prayer," the Ten Commandments and other verses.
